I'll be picking it up on Sunday (work keeps me away, or it would be much sooner)
Silver (mostly), 1990, 208k, $950

Rough bodywork, nice interior, solid mechanicals

Comes with original wheels (in need of new valve stems/rubber) and these wheels -

Anybody know what they are? I wasn't really concerned about it (sub 1k miata) so I forgot to ask

Order of Operations:
1) Learn Manuel (finally)
2) Hoon
3) Eventually remove body and insert mechanical bits into Sonett

Might be a case for taking it apart, sandblasting a few things, and cleaning the rest of it. Check windshield for pitting and soft top for rust/leaks.

I own a 91 with slightly more miles on it. It's a peach. However, I will offer up this advice. Run the car up to redline if possible in third or fourth (getting on the freeway is usually a good time) and listen hard for pinging. Especially above 4k rpm. It's got over 200k miles so it will probably burn a little oil, more than likely has plugged HLAs and stuck rings. None of these things (well minus the pinging of course) are catastrophic, just keep an eye on the oil level, which you probably already know.

The suspension is probably toast by now so do yourself a favor and while you're on this website looking at suspension bits, buy these ;) ( http://www.mossmiata.com/Shop/ViewProdu… )
