I keep forgetting to ask you why you want a truck

Price looks reasonable, it does look to be in pretty good shape. The rear jump seats are more usable than you'd think for short drives.

That is just like the Red S10 I had, except the manual transmission. I know i'd get it and that price seems fair. That combo really will get you good mileage (I got mid 20s thrashing it around as a 16yo). Of course it's fairly reliable, if anything goes wrong it is easy to fix. This one looks great in and out. That price seems reasonable because it looks to be maintained. Hell, if I didn't need the money for school and paying for my current truck I would probably get this.
Best of all it is 2wd by the looks of things.

I don't know. I like little trucks. Little manual truck seems fun, and I can use it for RC airplane duties. The Sonic does fine for that, but a truck would do better. Then I have a truck to keep miles off the Sonic and/or open up future sports car options instead of the Sonic.

If I were ever to buy a small truck, I would buy a Ranger. But I'm sure someone has already told you that.

I say pull the trigger. Of course when you do the mint, sub-$2k, long bed manual, good v6, with one-of-a-kind topper will show up.

I would say NP, I have had a Sonoma for 8 years so feel free to ask any questions.

I would buy a Toyota Pickup/Tacoma first, but then Ranger. Even as a Toyota guy, it would still be a hard decision. My cousin had an '87 Ranger that wouldn't die. He got it for $1500 at 200k miles, and proceeded to destroy it and not maintain it for another 200k miles. It went 40k without an oil change once. It is still someones daily driver to this day.

Yep.
I'd really like the V6, but this truck looks clean. I'll give it another week or so.
