Do want.
I always wanted my house to have an engine.

My house could break into the 10's with something like this.

Peripheral port that bitch!
![]() 09/08/2014 at 20:09 |

Well, it'd definitely break into something. Probably a lot of pieces.

Ok Mazda, you don't need to do any engine development for the RX-9. Just put this in the back of a car that's half way in-between the Miata and the Furai and I will give you a kidney, a chunk of liver, my first born son, and my soul.

If that doesn't work, a briefcase full of Monopoly Dollars usually does the trick.

the bigger the rotary...the bigger the blown apex seals
*runs and hides

I wonder what the benefits of a low-RPM rotary are vs a diesel generator?
is is just it's ability to run on any combustible liquid?

So... does this have any torque, or is that still lacking?
![]() 09/08/2014 at 20:54 |

You'll have to track your mileage in both gas and oil!

Now what am I going to put my 23.2 liter 4-rotor in? Decisions decisions...

Scaled up Miata?

I can't find any torque figures but I'm betting this must prove adequate because displacement.

"It gets 40 mpg's! Oh that's oil btw."

Maybe the fuel thing, otherwise I'm not sure.

that's a pretty big metal Dorito with a hole in the middle

Am I missing something here? That rotor doesn't look like it's displacing more than around a litre of air?? And which of the engines in their chart is this one? Or maybe I should say how many of those rotors are in that engine
![]() 09/09/2014 at 10:03 |

It's the 350-2. 11.6L displacement. I can't find how many rotors there are but there must be a few.

the biggest one is at 3,000 HP and a max RPM of 3600, if it makes max power at redline, its churning out 4966 torques. The lower the max HP occurs at, the more torques it will have.

I would love to see the torque figure for the 105-2. That would fit nicely in a lot of engine bays.
![]() 09/11/2014 at 22:12 |

In turbo format it would have to be no lower than 894 torques.

That would be epic in a car.
