It was your typical old style car show with a typical mix of old dudes, hotrods, muscle cars and an old dude DJ playing The Beach Boys. In a word: Horrible.

However, there were two cars that stood out, a stunning 1970 Mercedes and a Viper ACR. Once thing about the Viper though, it appeared to be wearing it's original Pilot Sport Cup tires as they looked very old and nearly on the worn to the belts.

This make me think it's never been tracked, which left me somewhat perplexed. Why endure the Sturm und Drang of a track day car and never track it? Were I not interested in doing a track day now and again, I'd be driving a Focus ST instead of Boss 302.

Rome, Georgia....do they still have that god damn stinky paper mill? That thing was the bane of my childhood when the prevailing winds would change direction bring the stench of it over my home in AL.
