So I went to go get some lunch down the road from my office. I was planning on going to Jimmy John's but as I walked to my car I had a lightbulb moment and remembered there's a great little Mediterranean cafe just a little farther down the road (Best freaking Gyro in town. M. I. F Deli on Central for you locals).

As I drive down the road, I have this weird thought. As you all probably know by now, I'm hoping to get a little truck like an S10 soon. This thought popped in my head...

Wouldn't it be crazy if I found one sitting out for sale on the way to MIF Deli? Like the thought to go there was divine intervention or something. That would be crazy

Nothing more than a daydream, a weird thought likely resulting from it being Monday, not getting enough sleep, and wanting to think of anything other than work.

Obviously I wouldn't be typing this if something didn't happen. Sure enough sitting outside a defunct Hometown Buffet that was turned into Asia Town Buffet that then apparently went out of business was a little Toyota pickup

I swear I didn't make this up. This seriously happened. It happened so suddenly that I didn't have time to pull over and look at it, so I looked at it on the way back.

Ideally this story would end with me saying I called the number on the truck and I'm going to pick it up after work; the perfect little Toyota pickup found outside of Asia Town Buffet on my way to lunch after thinking it would be crazy to find a truck on my way to lunch.

Alas, it wasn't meant to be. I looked into the cabin through the drivers side window and didn't see a clutch pedal, so that truck will stay in front of Asia Town Buffet for now.

But it's a pretty crazy moment, right?!
