Jayhawk Jake, Midengineer, and I went Autocrossing today out at the vacant Yoder runway. This was my first autocross event ever, and it was a total blast. 10/10 totally going again.
After the heats, they did funs runs, where people can swap and drive each others cars.
Highlighted in blue are all of my runs - Jay Lauer
Highlighted in yellow are all of Jayhawk Jake's runs
Highlighted in green are all of Midengineer's runs
As you can tell, I got my ass handed to me, proving that cars don't make drivers. I've got my excuses already lined up, as follows:
-My rear tires were basically bald.
-The car's for sale
-I didn't want to thrash it. I made it only to about 7000 RPM
-I'm a big pussy.
Overall, I'm still really happy with the day. It was a great experience and I managed to pop off a 56.7. If I still have the S2000 by the next one, I'll hope to beat it.

The Boxsters were fucking quick though. Those guys don't mess around. The tracks not big enough for any straight line power

No AutoX track really is! I guess that's why I got 2nd in PAX when I took my dad's that one time.
