Disregard the stick-on side pipes and donk wheels; they are not long for this world. It's a '99 with just 39k miles, same owner for the past 14 years. Came with a full stack of dealer service records. Florida car, not a speck of anything even resembling rust. This one might be a keeper.

TIL: 17" wheels are "donks" when on a Miata

The wheels dont look terrible, but Id check the outer tie rod bushings and wheel bearings to be positive. Otherwise a super clean looking fun car. Insanely low mileage though, how did that work out?

There's just something about emerald green '99s and Florida.

Indeed they are. I'm replacing them with 14s.

I think I might be joining the miata life soon too...

Have only driven Gen 1 Miata, bought a CRX Si instead because girlfriend (now long gone) did not like convertibles. Subsequent generations - am I missing anything, or was Gen 1 the most pure experience? Thing handled like it was on rails.

It drove very well, so I doubt there are any issues in the front end but I will take a good look when I get it home and swap the wheels for my 14" RPF1s.

Guy had it as his winter car in Florida; obviously didn't drive it much. Luckily for me he decided to bring it back up to NJ and sell it up here.

Gen 1 and 2 are basically identical from a chassis standpoint and pretty much handle the same if they are set up the same way. I've owned two of each and didn't find one to be more pure than the other.

Heard Gen 3 was a bit softer, but I'll have to see if I can rent/borrow/steal one to find out. Loved that car, should have bought it, but CRX Si not a bad substitute.

Never driven a 3rd gen so I have no basis for comparison there.

Remove wheels, remove exhaust. Then it'll hoon.

Thats a pretty good price, especially with the hardtop. GLWS.

That's in way to nice condition for me. I'm looking more for something to gut and turbocharge, not a show car. Glws though, that thing is mint, and probably my most favorite color combo.

2,500 pesos. You know it's a tempting offer.
