"sm70- why not Duesenberg?" (sm70-whynotduesenberg)

The Jaguar F-Type's center console has a sort of column-handle thing on it. But only on one side. This makes choosing between it and the Corvette much easier for me, because that would drive me to the brink of insanity after a very short period of time.
I couldn't even drive a last-gen MDX:
Edit: Fuck. 911 it is then.

With a bit of money, you could have the piece replaced (and reflected on the left side) with a nice piece of black walnut. That would set it right.

Please murder that MDX interior, that "wood" looks like some sort of shitty mass producted material.

Well, it kinda completes an arch with the door trim, but my OCD senses are tingling with all these as well.

If someone in Saudi Arabia had the same issue with the column-handle thing would it still be a first-world problem?

It helps makes the drivers side look like a cockpit which is most excellent.

I mean, I am all for symmetry, but there is no such thing as a symmetrical car interior.

Ah, agree to disagree I guess. Though I will say, the MDX wheel would bother me. I actually dislike the center stack in it as well. I like when the interiors are driver focused; slanted toward the driver; like older BMWs and such. The handle on the passenger side serves to disconnect the passenger even more. But that's just me.

"1% problem" is better than "first world problem," I will grant you that.

It depends on your definition of a first world country. If you follow strictly the 3 worlds theory then Saudi Arabia falls under the third world. For reference, the three worlds are: First: NATO and supporting countries, Second: Communist and supporting countries (Soviet Union, Communist China, etc.), Third: Neutral and non-aligned countries (everyone else).
Essentially the Three Worlds Theory started off as simply an international political grouping. Now, it's more common as a description of developing vs developed countries. This kind of makes sense when you look at it from a tech development standpoint: countries that are very poor aren't really going to contribute to nuclear weapons research especially when they have problems of their own (unstable governments, starvation disease, etc. the things that come to mind when you think of "third world countries"). However, this still doesn't really give us any clear answer of which countries are 1st world and which are 3rd world in the way that people use the term. That's part of the reason I used Saudi Arabia as my example.
Really, it's more of a rich people problem than it is a "first world problem" since third world countries are not populated by only poor people. Along with the fact that "first world" has a pretty loose definition.

Looks like you could just order the "RHD" piece of trim and get rid of this handle thing... cannot do the same thing with corvette dash by the looks of things

300zx cockpit. If you like the waterfall-slightly-angled-toward-driver style, the 928 and NSX are similar.
