Went to the Federated Auto Parts 400 with my brother and sister. It was hot as hell all day and the short rain shower that afternoon just made it worse. But my brother's friend was able to get us pre-race pit passes which was awesome. The race was pretty uneventful mainly due to the tire Goodyear brought. It allowed the cars to run all the way up by the wall which is highly unusual for RIR. There was passing however with 3 grooves, it all but eliminated the beating and banging I was hoping for.

He was all the way at the top and you could see the catch fence bouncing as he moved. I thought he as going to fall on the track because drunkenness. The second the caution came out he was like ok I'll climb down.

In other news I was actually surprised that you could hear the air guns over the cars. I went to the K&N Pro Series race at VIR last year and while the late models have half the horsepower of the Sprint Cup cars, they aren't exactly quite.

They're pretty good. 9 rows up. Would like to be higher up to have a better view of the whole track but I still have a good view of turn 3, down the front, into turn 1. And for $35/ticket (renewal price) you cant beat it. If I was to move up to row 11, it would go up to about $70/ticket.....maybe in the future when I make all the monies.
