Kinja'd!!!

2004 Prius. 10 years of dedicated service. Just traded for a silver SV with charge/LED package. I'm depressed about leaving old blue, but super excited about my new EV adventure! We still have a 2005 Prius (wife's). But old blue took me everywhere, across the US twice, camping, ice storms, vacations. I will miss alot about the Prius, but look forward to my own no-gas future. I pick it up today and and feel rather teary-eyed. It's silly. it's just a machine, a tool. but what can i say...

The only place on earth where someone is sad about getting rid of the Prius.

Why is their relationship with the Prius any less valid than our relationship with our cars?

It's valid I guess. They probably look at us weird too.

Imagine in 20 years when people look fondly on their old Prius and say how they don't trust these newfangled fuel cell or other crazy tech cars.

At least he cares and is sentimental about his car, unlike most camry owners
