If I were to have a car for the rest of my life, this would be it

It looks so much better without any kind of spoiler though..

I come from the F&F/NFS underground generation so it looks so much better with that spoiler, especially since it's functional

Well it does look really badass. It's not like the spoiler ruins the looks.

What's functional about a spoiler like that on a car that you'd have to use the rest of your life? Do you plan go living on a track or something?

Uh yes I do track my DD currently so I suppose a functional spoiler would help in either case

While I truly enjoy a good LS swap, in my opinion there is only one reciprocating engine that can match Felix Wankel's inspired lunacy.

Or like an Ariel Atom with a body.

...are you insinuating that fd is not gorgeous? If so I may just have to call you a poopoo head

No, that would be crazy. I'm insinuating that the Ariel Atom has no body.

haha yes it would be crazy! phew, for a second I thought transporter was a wankel nay sayer but I always knew you were cool. For some reason I'm super glad when people agree with my rx7 fanboyisms. Yes, if the atom were to have a body, something curvy and lean like the fd would work best!

Oh, I'm totally a Wankel nay sayer. His ideas were brilliant but ultimately unworkable in the real world. The cars that Mazda built around those engines are absolutely wonderful, though.

To be completely honest, I'm like you. The only reason I don't have an rx7 now is because of the engine. I don't even like the zippy sound that much. Love the uniqueness though, and I've always purported they're great performance engines if you've got the means. Deep down though, it's always been the spartan, curvy bodied, fighter-cockpited, pop-up-headlighted platform that captured my heart

How about ITBs and a flat-plane on an LS?

Will that give it a 14,000 rpm redline? If not, then no.

Bore it out and short-stroke it and you might hit 9k. The push rods will be trouble after that though. LT5 anyone?
