and I have to say, I didn't like it as much as I was afraid I would. It's a year newer than mine, and it has three god-given pedals.
And it just doesn't feel as good as my 07 does. The paint's a little scruffy. The rear window gasket is trash. The interior feels a little more worn, the controls don't seem as tight, and the clutch is really, really light, although I like its gearbox more than my co-worker's 08 M3. I wanted to like it enough to blow my tax return and go for it, but in every way my 07 disappoints, this one felt worse, somehow. It's a one-owner, meticulously-serviced, MANUAL 550... And somehow mine still feels better.
Weird.

I could. But my 07 feels better, even though I like the colors on this one more. Mine's in better shape cosmetically, and this one felt kinda... worn out? inside. I really thought I'd just go for it, but it's not as nice in a lot of ways, and it's not good enough to justify the expense.

Yeah, the way that somebody drives their car really shows. I'm guessing since it's stick that it was driven pretty hard, probably why it felt slightly worn out.

That was my impression. And I was really surprised at the condition of the paint and rubber. It ticked all my want boxes on paper, but it didn't inspire me when I drove it.
