Kinja'd!!!1 Kinja'd!!! 11

1/4 mile (i think) drag race along the sea front in Brighton (UK).

Awesome event, with lots of amazing machinery. I didnt take any pictures of the bikes that were there too, but this album contains pics of pretty much every car running.

Oh my gosh... That first pic, the Noble... Awesome! Great pics dude. Thanks for sharing. I can't tell from the badge, but that might be one of my favorite cars when I was younger. Still is one of my favorite cars: The Noble M12 GTO-3R

Yeah i always have had a soft spot for the Noble M12 GTO-3R, although thats partly because its name is just so excessive haha. as well as the two blue ones photographed, there was a third on in the car park i was in, in amongst a line on TVRs. I was a little bit like a child in a sweet shop.

Things I liked: The green 300ZX. Things I didn't like: The picture of the avacado.

Also wtf is car #33?? The driver sits at the very back of that thing!

It was nice to see a different group of cars there (the 300zx, and the heavily modified 350zs too) alongside more traditional hillclimb stuff, and the exotics.

the avacado? colour me confused....

oh...I think it was some ad.

These are awesome photos, it must have been nuts to see the F40. I really want to see one drive at some point. (I've only ever seen them in display).

ha, I was pretty sure i hadnt photographed an avacado, but never can be too sure.

Ive been spoilt by F40s this last week. This one being driven in anger (smoking the rear tyres off the line, i weakened at the knees...)

And i was standing next to it as it fired up in the que heading to the line. Access at this event is utterly amazing.

And last saturday found this beast in a car park in london.

That is so cool! I would be drooling all over the place. I even love the M600 that Noble makes today. I remember seeing the M12 GTO-3R in some magazine as a teenager, and it stuck with me. Only a few inches taller, longer, and wider than a Lotus Elise, it could beat anything but an Enzo around a track. All in a kit car with a Ford V6. Yup, that one was a kit car over here, they couldn't ship assembled M12-GTO 3R's to the US. I think because of some safety regulations...

Edit: great pics BTW, I looked through the album.

Got to thank pistonheads for that. Was wandering around knightsbridge looking for supercars, and googled good spots, and this carpark was suggested. stuck my head in and jackpot... ha

many rolls royces, couple of Astons, Maseratis, an Aventador, and that beauty

thanks :)

oh wow, yeah they were always sold as complete cars here. But i suppose they lend themselves nicely to Kit Car forms, as they are built by a comparatively small company in a shed, so not much effort on their part to ship a kit, not a car.

M600 is very much on my bucketlist of cars to spot. Yet to see one in the wild, but so so cool,
