High miles and major rust issues. I think I'm in over my head this time...

High mileage, or high mileage for a Cherokee?

Which motor is under the hood? Those 2 doors are not generally common, with what little jeep knowledge I have.

If you can buy a used welder and learn to fix it, I think you should. That thing is a keeper for sure. The first time I saw a 2 door, it was actually a RHD one by where I live. It was long before I could ever drive, but it was white just like that one. I'll never forget it. If you had to part it out, I'm sure you could make what little money you spent on it back easily.

2 Door Cherokee. Very off road. 300k is not unusual if well maintained.

Uh-Oh, I'd suggest getting it on a lift as soon as you can.

I love these, there is a Vendor who comes to the store I work at monthly and she drives one like this, but red.
