I hate it when dudes mock me for knowing a lot of colors.

Knowing about the color crimson is for girls? What, you're only a man if you know two colors, red and black? I'm sure you eat raw steaks for dinner and can weld two Camaros together just for the heck of it, too.

At COTA, our track workers call all similarly hued cars "crimson". The only thing that's red is the flag.

I used to work for Lands' End. I know all sorts of pretentious names for colors.

A quick check of the website reveals men's polo shirts in such colors as Fresh Sage, Brandywine, Canary, Autumn Sunset, Regal Plum, Cozumel Blue, and Field Moss.

If this is crimson, I just call it burgundy. You're lucky I'm even using that. Red and blue are the only colours where I know the half colours (burgundy and turquoise).
