I will be trying out the 435i tomorrow morning. Any burning questions you need answered (about the car, not that rash you've had for the last week)?

Anybody driven the new 3/4-series? Any observations before I head into this?

I've driven a 435i, it wasn't stock so I don't really want to bore you haha.

Sit in the back seat for me if you can, the E92 3 series was really roomy back there, although getting in (like most coupes) still wasn't great.

I own a 2014 328i MSport. The car will drive very differently depending on what trim level it has.

No-Line/Luxury Line - Soft Suspension

Xdrive (Any trim) - Soft Suspension

Sport line or MSport - Sports suspension

Make sure to put it into sport mode or sport + as well.

Not really, I'm mainly just curious to see if it's comfortable for adults like the previous 3 series coupe in the back.

Is it a ZF 8 speed or a 6MT? The auto is just awesome... I'd still grab a manual though.

What's the sensation of speed like?

I traded an E90 for an MK6 GTI. Both pretty comparable as far as acceleration and handling, but the GTI feels faster, while the E90 was much smoother. Mine was only a 325 though, so no comparison to the 435 from an engine standpoint.

I've went for the M235i. If you need the extra space, go for the 435i, but I think you should really consider the 235i. Make sure you try out Sport and Comfort. Get used to the start-stop system.

I love my M235i. It's great for long distance trips (comfortable, economical), and it fit all of my girlfriend's luggage in the trunk (!!!). Surprisingly spacious, just not for the back seat. It's also a sports car. The short wheel-base and instant torque is loads of fun. The M235i actually makes more power than the 435i (unless the 4-series has the M Performance Pack 2 attached, then it's the same).
