10/10, would buy gas there. However, according to Roadside America :
The B-17G, named "Lady Lacey" (after Art Lacey's British wife), began undergoing a serious restoration effort in 2012, when the nose and cockpit were removed. On August 13, 2014, the rest of the bomber was removed as well. The Lacey family estimated that the plane could be worth millions if restored to flying condition, which meant bye-bye bomber forever as a gas station awning.
Here's a local news story about it: http://www.katu.com/news/local/956…
Here's the B-17G on Google Maps. You can look it up at 13515 S.E. McLoughlin Boulevard, Milwaukie, OR 97222

As cool as it was, I'd love to see it restored to flying condition.

I think they should make like a fiberglass or Plastic replica to put in its place

Agree with Camaroboy. Restore the plane, make it sky-worthy, and replace it with an inert replica over the gas station
