I don't know, $15,000 is asking alot. $9000-$10,000 tops. It is clean though.

Crackiest pipe. Aside from the usual problems, include those associated with the hardtop and for a little more money, you could get a 996 with about 20k extra miles and it will be a much better buy

It's a nice and clean car, but I'd offer about $10k max. Wait, someone on Oppo has this very car in the add!

Aw shit the porsche tamer is here. Well i give up but if i must list some, the usual are timing belt, control arms and water pump. It's like they they're programmed to fail repeatedly. Don't ask me how i know. The rest tho is just my opinion. I'd rather a 996, knowing my only biggest problem is the IMS, other than that it's a peach and better in almost every way than the 944. No pop up headlights though.

Those aren't problems, rather they're just unique maintenance quirks of the 944/968 family. The control arms vary based on the years. If you get an '83-85 car, then all you have to do is replace the ball joints, if you get an '85.5 or newer, then you have to replace the entire control arm; which is why I went with an early car as opposed to a later one. Mind you, the 996 has it's own unique problems in of itself just like any other P-Car; IMS/RMS like you already stated. And it's better in every aspect that it is a 911 with a flat-6 and more power and torque and the handling you'd expect from a 911.
With a 944/968, you only get a high revving 4 cylinder and 50/50 weight distribution, and more practicality; Pick your poison.

944/968 Cabs were shit. CP CP CP. 15k? Your shitting me.
The cabs sold in almost as high numbers as the coupes but nobody has any use for them so in reality they should really be lower value. they seem rare because most have been left to rot or are stuck in a used car lot as nobody wants to buy them

I wouldn't call a 944 S2 cabrio a unicorn. Just a quick check on my local craigslist and I found this one . It's a '91 with only 50k miles and they're asking 16k. This car also has only 50k miles on it.

It's a 1984 with 118k miles and all the preventative maintenance has been done(i.e. timing belt, water pump, ect.). It's all original from paint to interior; it does, however have an aftermarket radio unit and cruise control.
No pics, vids or stories until I say so. :P
