It won't fit with the current hood, but it's not like they can't put a bulge on the thing and call it a day.

How much does the Hellcat weight? the V10 is 700+ lbs

it's 60 horsepower more the year it came out, while the V10 as only being upgraded by 5 HP in 2015. unless they put some serious R&D on that engine, it won't stay competitive.

And it's a high-performance vehicle, fuel economy is not very high on the priority list

The modern hemi is around 600 lbs and then you have to factor in the additional wieght of the supercharger and all of the additional fluids and plumbing and intercooler. It'll probably come out to about 700 lbs all together.

The bracing would need to be changed for the Hellcat, the firewall would need to be modified, the intercooler would need a home, an entire new mold would need to be made to make a new hood.

Making more power from the V10 isn't hard. You only need to look to the racing versions to see examples of it. But it honestly doesn't need any more.
