Yeah...
I had ~30 miles left, too. Filed up with 16.1 gallons. 23mpg from 80% highway driving. Not great :/

How many gallons does your car hold though?

Hyper mile! In all seriousness though, that's decent mileage if your car isn't a self described "econo box". If you ran her to empty I bet you could eek just over 400 per tank. Your fuel lines might be upset at you though...

23 mpg highway? What am I looking at, exactly? Obviously something by GM.

It's ok, but nowhere where what it's supposed to get (28 to 30 highway according to other owners real-world numbers)

I have no idea. Most I've ever put in it was 16.5

I've actually gotten the Miles to Empty readout to say 0 before!

2003 Buick LeSabre. Other people get 17 city/30 highway. Then again, 223,000 miles...

Once it gets below 40 mine just says "LOW MILEAGE", presumably because that's when the bobber reaches the bottom of its travel range

The 3800 SII in my G-body pushes well above 30 mpg highway with 165,000 miles. That motor has good highway economy for a big ol' six. Lighter G-Body chassis and less mileage, obviously, but would that account for all the difference?
I presume you've investigated the usual suspects, like plugs and wires?

haha I am just waiting for the day when I run my car out of gas... all that happens when it gets below 45 miles to empty is the gas light comes on with a ding type noise ;)

It's been a while on the plugs. I might check them tomorrow when I put on my new shocks and hubs.
