Far away shot to build anticipation (text explaining photo to delay spoiler text...)
Yupp! A 300SL Roadster following a 300SL Gullwing coupe. Both were driven by gentlemen who were probably old enough to buy the cars off the lot new. The gullwing was loaded down with luggage and what not, looked like they were taking a road trip.
Gave em both the thumbs up as I drove past, and I sure am glad to see these two cars aren't just rotting away in a barn somewhere as "collectors items". Just goes to show you can have your cake and eat it too.
(and yes, I know, potatoing while driving makes me effectively like the worst human being ever. Deal with it, it was for 300SL gloriousnes)
