It got here super fast, less than two weeks. I'll post up any crazies I come across, although I wish I had it on yesterday.
I backed out of my garage into a road that has an active school zone and quickly get up to speed (30kph). A truck that was clearly going over the limit decided I cut him off/was going too slow and started tailgating me. I proceeded to flip him off (I know, I know, not the smartest move) and accelerated away and around the corner once I got outside the school zone. After he gets around the corner he speeds past me and forces me to stop while I lay on the horn. He jumps out and hits my window and wants me to fight, I decide to take out my phone and record him incase he decides to damage my car. He gives up on me coming out and goes to his truck, right as two bike cops come over to see what is going on. I had a buttload of adrenaline hitting me at this point, but I calmly state what happened to one officer while the other gets the truck's side of the story. They end up letting him go first, then coming over and saying flipping him off wasn't a good idea as he was clearly ready to fight over it and then let me go.
It would be nice to be able to have backup on stories like that.

Yeah I know, I was just in a bad mood and didn't feel like being tailgated in a school zone. I was an ass, but he was legit crazy if that made him run me off the road and want to fight.

I hear ya, just remember if someone is that stupid without any provocation then it's only downhill for them. Seems like you already know that though.

Are you going to hardwire it? I'm thinking of getting the same camera and bought one of these for future installation and am hoping to get more info on the result.

Currently I have it going in the edge of the headliner, down the inside edge of the A pillar, exposed a bit by the mirror window pillar, over the steering column (but underneath the column cover) and exposed to the 12v socket. I'm contemplating hardwiring it, just not sure how and where to do it.

The product I linked to seems to be the right thing (I haven't installed it yet), as it adds a circuit to the fuse panel using the 12V accessory fuse. Assuming I can tuck it into the headliner correctly and bundle everything in the fuse box, it should be pretty clean.
