Or at least, I'd forgotten about it until recently.
It's just so perfectly early 90s. Ahead of the curve in terms of surfacing (so clean, crisp, and refined, compared to its gooey, melty contemporaries).
The wheels are a bit much, for a car like this, but since FS-X stood for Future Sports Experimental, I guess I can let them slide, given the year. A 3.5L VTEC six drove Honda's soon-to-be-production-ready 4WD system, and newly-relaxed headlight requirements allowed them to put super-squinty projector headlights up front.
And look at that 90s-tastic interior:
Looks like a seriously luxurious place to be, doesn't it?

I think it is. It's like a Legend injected with some Jag all wrapped up in early-90s gold and purple.

Concept cars often age terribly, but this one actually looks like a production car from 10 years later.

I know, right? Compare it to Infinitis in the early 00s.

It's amazing for a Honda. If only they had this level of innovation today. I'd love to see a revival of great Honda vehicles, not just the usual beigemobiles. I'd like to see more S2000's and Preludes, with high-revving VTECs.. Those days are sadly gone. :(
