I have a paper due already. It's only been the 2nd day of class.

It's due in 2 weeks. God dammit. Here. Have a Liberty Walk 458, because bolt-on widebody fenders are always cool.

You know what you should really do? Write it today. The whole thing. It's an incredible feeling.

I want to. I usually do that, but in this case, I have a partner from my class. Not only that, we have to document what each person did for an even 50/50 split to prevent me from doing all the work. I also have to make a powerpoint and present with said partner in front of the class.

That and I'm not entirely sure how specific this paper/presentation should be, so I don't know whether or not I should be as vague as possible or as specific as possible.

It's always nice walking into class and breezing through papers/tests/whatever because you did them weeks ago while your fellow classmates sweat more bullets than a raft full of pirates approaching a battleship.

one time I took a lecture taught by a law school professor - he posted on the website that there was a paper due the second day of class but never mentioned it out loud. half the students didn't bother to check, and so many zeros were handed out that day

I like this professor. It's something I would do. Just to see who's vigilant on the website. Of course, I wouldn't make this paper weigh as much as other though.
