So it seems my friend and I now have comparable performing cars. Nearly identical weight. Probably close whp. Both have very good handling characteristics (at least mine does haha). He's got one thing on me though. His car shoots flames.
The sounds of a rotary and vtec during a duet is quite a thrill. Until we can afford ferraris and lambos, this will suffice.

I had a 1990 RX-7 convertible that still holds a special place in my heart. It was a little underpowered and I was too poor to rectify it with any mods at all, but man that thing handled like a dream.
Great cars gents!

Ive been in a couple spirited rides in it. After having swapped it from 4 lug to 5 lug with a big brake kit. Two things immediately came to mind: 1- Wow, this car can handle pretty fricken well for its age. 2 - Im glad we put this thing back together correctly.
He is gonna mod it. Wont be normally aspirated for much longer.
Mazda really made some great cars, and still does.
