It's been a while since I've made any real posts, or contributed to any conversations. That is mostly because there's been a lot going on.... and I've just moved and still have no interwebs.
Upon many things, I still have my beloved 370 and she is about to get some all season shoes hopefully by the end of this month. I'm almost at 10k miles and the wonderful part is I moved right next to my job, so instead of commuting 20 miles each way, I drive 1.5 miles total. Which means by the time I make it to work, I'm still hardly awake. But this is great for my mileage and gas consumption which have dramatically dropped.
Sadly, that isn't the biggest news for me. Me and the Mrs. decided to part ways after being married for 5 years. I guess there's something to the 5 year itch people joke about. Since I am in KS and she remains in AZ the distance became too much for her after one year. The separation is quite friendly and understanding in both terms, but painful nonetheless. She'll be keeping the house in AZ (she has to refinance to buy me out tho), the 2012 Scion TC I had (She will finish paying it off), and my Husky Havok :( - The latter of which is what pains me the most. Financially speaking the change won't affect me a whole lot other than having fewer expenses, given she only worked part time bc she is attending med school.
Which neatly brings me to something else I've been considering. While the Z is just over a year old and not even 10k on the clock, selling it or trading it seems kind of harsh and unnecessary. But in the light of the circumstances I feel as if I should have something more useful, perhaps AWD. Do I need to? Nope. As I just mentioned I still plan on getting snow shoes (Continental DWS) for the Z. So I'll be able to get around, but still not a practical car if you need to.. idk.. carry more than one bag or person at a time. I knew this when I bought it, but since we had the other vehicle I didn't see a problem. I can afford this car just fine, but I am not sure if it would be a better idea to get something cheaper and slowly save up and regain some funds/pay off some cards. I have been toying with the idea of a '15 WRX, and saving the difference in payments and get rid of debt. I also like the '15 Mustang GT, I mean... who doesn't. But then again, I can keep my Z and have less wait time before the mod bug kicks in since I've already broken it in, etc. What do you guys think?
All that aside, expect to see a lengthy photodump with the cars in my job's parking lot, I think you will all find something you like there.

Sorry to hear about you and the missus, but stuff happens. Driving only 1.5 miles to work and back is HORRIBLE on your car. Take the time to drive it around the block a few times, or atleast until the car gets up to operating temperatures.

Yeah I figured as much. I warm it up for a while and drive the long way to work, since I know short drives are the worst you can do to a car
