It's officially official. I also called a bluff that one of the higher ups wanted to pull. Apparently they wanted to fire me and place a line operator in my job (AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!.....all of our line operators are high school dropouts who are supposed to attend AA meetings) anyways so this will give them the opportunity to do just that. I was nervous at first but now that I heard that, I couldn't be happier. My road trip skewed up production something hard because no one was there to correct the problems caused by previously mentioned operators. Now they're all scrambling to try and figure out what to do without me. Gif unrelated, it just pleases me greatly. So satisfying.....

Thanks. That building is being shut down so we can "move to a new one" in a few years but I have zero confidence in our ability to pull that off.

There's no greater feeling than that you will be difficult/impossible to be replaced. Especially when there is shady stuff happening behind your back. Congrats sir.

Man that reminds me of when I was a CNC operator. We had three shifts and quota was only 16 parts a shift (20 minute cycle time with 10 minutes change time.) I used to knock out 24 parts a shift and first and second couldn't even hit quota for one shift working together with no downtime. Luckily they knew how valuable I was and kissed my ass.
