So the Echo has been fun, but I need a change in experience. Within 8 months, I will be buying a new car! Here are my top-three options, and I need you to decide which I should buy.
1985 Pontiac Fiero GT: The Hero Car
When I was very young, my neighbour had one of these and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It may not be the best car, or even the best sports car, but it is still quick and fun. For $1500, I can own the only mass-produce mid-engined american car.
Impreza 2.5TS: The Practical Rallycrosser.
Ahh the TS Wagon, a great little first car. Snow, mud, bikes, everything, just bring it on. Finding a good one within budget will be difficult, especially with the stick and without a gazillion kilometres on the clock.
1.8T GTI: The Budget Bahn-stormer
My friend has had two MKIV Jettas, one 2.0 GLS 5MT and one GLX VR6 AT. I think it would be neat to have a 1.8T 5MT Golf. These weren't the sharpest, quickest or most reliable cars, but they do almost everything one needs in a car.
So what'll it be, Oppo?

I'd vote Subaru, especially if you live where it snows.

Fiero. We need more Opponauts with Fieros. Try and snag an '88 GT, but any GT is fine.
