Cheap as hell liquor will do that to you. One time I went to a party where they were swilling down Allen's Blackberry. Those were some sorry fuckers the next day.

I would love to live there...BUT
there's like zero tracks, and the New England Region SCCA holds their events closer to me than they do to you.

This is not a Nomad. Nomad is always a two door model and it has totally different side windows than the rest.

the more time I spend up north the more I want to move there. Portland and south is great, but it is a different thing down east

in my opinion I think Portland is overrun by restaurants and people that want to eat at them. It isnt what it was even 10 years ago.

Goddamn tourists...

they are. Tourists are just fine. I am a little pissed that even with all the tourism revenue my taxes in portland are 3 times what they would be in surrounding towns, and 10 times what they would be up north. And we cant even get to the restaurants ourselves!

Awesome pics! Congrats on the Buick wagon.
Super random but this past weekend I drove up to Maine (Deer Isle, near Blue Hill) from Boston (random as I live on the West Coast) and remembered a couple of jalops lived out there. I actually saw a decent number of cool cars outside of all the trucks I was expecting to see - including lots of old American classics.
Wonderful state and lots of great roads! Drivers also appear to be a LOT better than those in California - everybody seemed to keep right and pretty courteous in letting faster traffic go by.
Drive back down was horrible with the rain Sunday night though - couldn't see a damn thing getting in to Boston and had to turn off the freeway and wait for it to die down.

haha wow, small world.
Checked out the blue hill fair and had my first doughboy - as heart attack inducing as it sounded, that was actually delicious. And more lobster in the course of 3 days than I've had in my entire life before that.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to more trips to Maine. Next time will be over Christmas though, so gotta brace for the weather. Definitely hope to visit over the summer again sometime soon for a longer period of time to explore a bit more and relax out there on the water.
My lady grew up out there - her dad's a boat builder and brother in law is a lobsterman - so lots of seafood in my future too, I hope!

it's a 210 as you described and he's right, the nomad only came in a 2-door (and only in the bel-air trim package). Depending on the interior seating (I think) it's either a Townsman or Beauville http://www.57classicchevy.com/body-styles.ht…
