Little fact, New York City is filled with too many wannabe street photographers(P mode professionals) , I know because I was one of them, I have pretty much walked through most of the streets of Manhattan with a camera by my side, but I honed my skills this way and I think I shoot relatively better than a noob now because of. But I always thought this was a relatively new fad mainly because of the cheap cost of DSLR cameras, and probably because it made you look like a badass with a 5lb camera around your neck. But it appears I was wrong. I found this facebook !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that has images from the 70s. Arguably the 70s was probably not the best of times for New York, but it is good to see cars that are considered classics these days, driven as daily drivers, with dents, mismatched wheels and all. Take a look, see how many cars you can identify, I picked out some of my favorite images. (And all of them are from before instagram took a dump on photography)

There are 3 pictures in there that I dig a ton - 2 mopar related (the Coronet taxi covered in ice, and the 69 Charger R/T where you can see the shackles hanging down to be able to jack the ass end in the air), and the guy sitting in on the 57-58 Caddy.

I agree. Hard to tell based on the other things in the photo...but that probably isn't too far off. Absolutely though...the old man has a couple B-bodies hanging around, the closest he got to new was a year and a half old in 70.

Apparently that image was taken in 1971. Running and driving B-bodies?

Well, it's a bit like GTA SA only set in the 70's and 2006 and better graphic. So the cars were set accordingly.

The story is pretty good, the cars are better than the GTA (It's real cars but with disguised name, for example that yellow checker cab is called "Fairway"), The map is about 90% accurate, and the music is really awesome!

1 is running and driving. The other hasn't ran or drove since 1987ish. Currently the parts that make it run and drive are laying in front of the car on the floor. Right where we left them about a year ago....
