I mean, if it runs, $3719 ain't a bad price; except for the fact that the car is located in a lake? Not going to swim for it. Also, why doesn't anyone just print screen NPoCPs? Not that I've got a problem with how it's done, I've just never seen anyone do it.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I would buy it.

Wow, this is about the exact situation where Wheeler Dealers bought their 928.

I like that episode. This isn't a bad find or car is it. And a nigh impossible to find manual in this okay condition too.

I see a tinnnny, littleeeee bit of rust bubbles which possibly indicate a bigger problem, plus it isn't confirmed that currently runs even though it did recently.

Haha, If I were looking at it I'd go super picky and find every small flaw and try and argue off money for it.

Nice Price for a 5spd. I paid more for my '89 with shot to hell paint. 16v = non-interference too!

The V8 sounds amazing, the handling is predictable and enjoyable, acceleration isn't that impressive compared to modern sports cars but the high-speed cruising is hard to match even today. Torquey enough to do fun donuts and burnouts. Females see the classic profile, the Porsche badge, and hear the rumble and are immediately taken by it, even mine with the severely UV-burned/oxidized paint. Comfortable enough once you're seated, though I'm in my late 30's and getting in/out is sometimes more of a feat than when I was younger. Black/black so I really wish the A/C worked. Electronics mostly work but everything is wired in the most convoluted manner possible. It's a fun running project and 4th car for our household (1, 2, 3 being a diesel Ram, WK, and TJ Jeeps.)

Honestly if you just hit alt + print screen it will only capture your active window in most browsers

Perhaps, perhaps. So many cars I want. Only so many monies and space.

I know this: if I get a 928 it will be THE 928. I would want a GTS for sure. I don't care how much it will cost me. The car is going to be expensive to maintain no matter which version. So it may as well be the mac daddy :D

Right now it needs a timing belt (light went on and it's been a lot of years - this one IS an interference engine.) After that there's some general oil leak / tuneup stuff to attend to. The aforementioned A/C needs to work for summers here in MO. Then probably a deep-blue plastidip job. It's not rare enough yet to justify the cost of a full paint job (not on *my* budget anyway.) Money/time-no-object I'd probably go the supercharger route, and real paint. There's some serious HP being made with simple centrifugal setups on these cars.

I see. Centrifugal , is supercharger correct? I've seen some videos of them and they sound pretty awesome. Dip would seem to be the best course for the time being as well. Other than that, it sounds like it's doing pretty well for the most part.

Kinja'd!!! Keith O'Toole > K-Roll-PorscheTamer

Yeah, centrifugal supercharger as opposed to roots or twin-screw. I don't regret the purchase. I put four new shocks on it this spring (8hrs worth of work I stretched over 2 month - no help and I'm lazy and have other priorities.) Other than that I haven't done much to it yet and it's fun for nice-weather rides. Once I get it a little more stable, and tame a really bad battery drain, I hope to use it as my airport car. (I travel a lot for work.)

If you're not loaded already, this car will prevent you from becoming it. Massive money pits. Had one, had a blast, wouldn't do it again. A 911 is cheaper in the end.
