UPDATE: THIS MOTHERFUCKER FLAGGED ALL OF THEM: WICHITA, KANSAS CITY, OKLAHOMA CITY, AND TULSA
It seems I have a hater in the Craigslist universe, most likely !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It seems my Oklahoma City listing of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has been flagged three times just today. It takes me no time at all to copy-paste these things, so he can flag all he damn well pleases. But, it's just an annoyance.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
As some of you may have followed along with, Craigslist has some !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and people aren't always nice about it. I'm honestly curious if my post doesn't get flagged before this article is even fully written. I guess we'll see.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Let's see how long it lasts. I left him a note this time.

...isn't the 2.0 AP1 the more desirable engine?

What a dick, Why is he so angry about the price that you are asking for it?

Depends who you ask really? Apparently not to that guy though.
Granted, he was using any excuse possible to try to make me lower the price.

I always understood that the 2.2 was just a stroked version of the 2.0, designed to bring the revs down for reliability, but not actually increase power, and are actually less fun to drive.

It's in the 'Craigslist Arguing' post. He thinks I should see it to him for $8400 cause that's all it's worth.
I can't definitively say he's the flagger or not, but if it is, it's super childish. It's like throwing a temper tantrum. If he can't buy with the car, then nobody can.

It is, I'm just surprised that whoever it is has enough time to go and flag it multiple times in a day.

I've actually never driven the AP2. I'm sure it's probably a little bit more comfortable and a little less raw. So depending on what you want, it could be the better or worse engine.
Honestly, I see absolutely nothing wrong with the 2.0; It's a great motor and has had absolutely 0 problems during my ownership.
It depends on how you treat them too. If you're a greased up musclehead that has to take it to 9000RPM every day, then it'll get some problems, but I baby the car a lot.

Lulz, you can see in the top photo, he flagged it like 15 minutes after I posted it. This was the second time, so it's as if he was waiting for me to post again just to flag it.
Some people have too much time. Maybe that's why he can't afford my car.

I'm a huge fan of the 2.0 too. I'm definitely on the site of having a more fun, raw experience.

It's definitely a fun motor. I probably wouldn't object to a little better highway gear, cause 3500rpm is pretty high to be cruising on, but it's a small downside.
If I want a car to drive highway on, I've got a little SUV for that anyway. So, I don't really have any issue with the car.

What you lose in gas milage you're probably gaining back in appreciation./reduced depreciation.

Eh, the S2000 hasn't quite reached the appreciation stage. I think depreciation is slowing though.
I bet they'll be classics someday, but I'm not waiting another 10 years for appreciation to kick in. I can just buy another one later. I'm not losing money selling it now.

People don't really understand the fact that a stock version of this car commands a higher value than a modified version and that the NADA guide only is that, a guide. Generally S2k's trade at higher than NADA or KBB values because that is what they are worth to the people buying them. Your car is priced well for what it is and you should be able to get close to what you are asking, you just need to be patient with the sale. Although with winter coming it might not sell all too quickly.

Change the title dramatically, get a new image, and bump the price up. Post it somewhere else first.

Trust me, once they have his info they will never stop bugging him.

I can't really change it too much. It'll still have to say '2002 S2000' in it.

Text him back, and tell him to eat shit because you sold it for $9750 as is, so he can take his $8400 and shove it up his ass.
Wait a month and start listing it again.

Well, luckily we've got a calling list at my place of work. Luckily he possibly will be going onto that calling list.
I've also got the numbers for some....Errrr..... Let's just say interesting characters.

He did text me back, and said he didn't do it, and doesn't care what I sell the car for.
So now I have no idea who's doing it. He's the only one recently that seemed pissed.

Then repost the ad as a "sold" ad? See if it gets flagged?
Then wait a month?
I'm grabbing at straws here. Good luck.

Depends if you want more torque or not.

Weren't they both rated at the same power and torque numbers? About 240HP and 160 ft/lbs, right?

Close to similar. F20C is around 150 and F22 is a bit more than 160.
Really there is not much difference between 8200 and 8900 rpm both are fun engines.

Was looking for this. Here is the F22c vs F20c torque curve. Where the major different lies.
