Lets see, squirrel ran across the track and is now chilling in 3-4. Someone's right rear started delaminating and part of the cord got stuck on the 48.

Did NASCAR just throw a caution for squirrel? Prolly not a threat to racers or spectators but it would be a horrible video clip had Tony Stewart run it over.

No they through a caution because Almendinger's tire had delaminated and there were chunks of cord on the track, some of which got stuck on the hoodpins of the 48
