I like the segment. Keep doing it. After I moved away from Denver I realized people drive a lot of boring shit elsewhere. I dig the old-school plates on that that Targa.
I'm trying to guess your hood, btw. At first glance I thought Aurora, but now I'm thinking East Denver, somewhere around Monaco or Quebec. THen I started to completely second-guess and thought... Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Boulder, who knows.
So I'm going with East or
Aurora.
Probably between Hampden and Yale, maybe getting up to Evans/Iliff. Sticking with East Denver. Amirite?

Yeah, yeah, Church of the Risen Christ or whatever. I used to go there on holy days of obligation, for Way Too Much Information for $500, Alex, hah. That was a fun game for one.
But, yeah, keep these spots coming. I had no idea there were so many characters there still. That Cletus Bait Special is flippin' sweet. Right out of Fear and Loathing.

When did you used to go there? My family has been living here for 22 years, or all my life. We get people parking in front of my house for the high holy days all the time. My neighbors that used to live across the street from me went there. The husband drove a red Jag

ok, I'm going to be honest here. When you first mentioned this idea, I thought it was going to be kinda lame... But if these are the highlights from just 20mins, please keep this coming.

Ah, cool! Here and there, from say '94—'04, 'cause I worked all the time in E. Denver, or really all over Denver—lived there from '85—'05, all around the city. Love that place still. I probably don't need to tell you, but do everything you're supposed to do there as much as you can while you're still there: snowboarding, mountain biking, Red Rocks, PPIHC, hike fourteeners, drive the mountains, EAT ALL THE GREEN CHILI SMOTHERED BURRITOS, etc. etc.

So, you probably saw me when I was little and didnt even know it. I Road bike, I cross Country ski, I love going up to red rocks, I dont have a license yet (I will in the next few months though). Once I get my license I want to drive up to morrison as much as I can, and go see the hill climb. I cant eat burritos because I'm celiac (no flour tortillas), But I do eat as much green chilis as I can

What you saw is a Mustang SVT Cobra, no-Shelby-included. This was early 2000's, pre-Shelby collaboration. This one has the added "basket handle" rollbar hoop. I'm guessing this is a 2001 with Cobra R replica wheels (painted black of course). Nice car!

God damn. Each time I see a full-size convertible it makes me want to get my Delta 88 on the road.
