I need a small desk.

Unfortunately this idea would be too large.

Something that is about 20" deep and 30" wide. Worst comes to worst, I make my own out of wood. What do you guys suggest?

Also, I brought an old office chair to the apartment my sister and I are living in, but it isn't very comfortable anymore. I'm thinking of hitting up a junkyard to grab a chair.

hit a yard sale or sumthin. i built my own platform for a drafting table and it adds up quick. not to mention the time it takes to build it. I already had the drafting surface, it just needed legs. I made 2 triangles and put a hinge at the top and attached it to the front of the board. this allowed the board to tilt up so it could be used as an easil as well. there were 2 legs on the back of the drafting board which would peg into holes on the diagonal of the triangle to lock it into position.
