"AM3R" (AM3R)

My neighbor came up to me today and asked me a weird question. Apparently she was driving really early this morning and turned too sharp at an intersection (really?), the roads were empty but she went over the lane divider at about 20mph as she was facing oncoming traffic (roads were empty though). I drove her car and it seems fine so far, but what damage is to be expected? She drives a 2009 Honda Odyssey, and like most vans it has a pretty tall sidewall.
For what it's worth, I noticed a strange noise when stopping on rough roads.

She jumped the concrete median at 20?
Possible damage (1 or more of the following): Missing wheel weights, bent rim, broken cords in tire, bent suspension arm, broken ball joint, bent tie rod, broken sway bar link, damaged steering knuckle, damaged CV axle assembly, bent strut assembly.
I will resist the obvious question of if you neighbor is Asian.

She went OVER the damn thing? Those things are massive these days. Around here they even make the triangular to really disincentive such notions of freedom.

I'm assuming it was at 20 because that's what I take that turn at, but it could've been slower if the light wasn't green when she approached the intersection.
That's what I figured, but I don't see any physical damage and I haven't really noticed anything on the short drive I took it on besides the noise coming to a stop on a rough road.
Haha, no, she's not Asian.

You really gotta give me an NSFW tag on pictures like that. There were children about.

If it's making weird noises while stopping, it could be the tire. Have her keep checking it, if it's a broken ply in the tire it'll make itself obvious soon enough:
She's not Asian? But she's driving an '09 Odyssey and doing a bad job of it. I don't understand.

nah it's actually one of the shorter ones around our area. It's shorter than a normal curb but still not something I'd want to drive over.

I'll check the tire again tomorrow but it's definitely nothing noticeable like that.
I live in the suburbs of NoVa, you either drive an Escalade/suburban/GL450/boat or a minivan if you're a mom.

You have spoken nothing but the truth there. Whenever I drive into VA I prepare for something amazing to happen on the road, I'm rarely disappointed. I think I should mount a dash cam and show the rest of the world our plight in the DMV area.

No doubt. They don't respect cars here at all. I think anyone seen committing that kind of ass-hattery should be forced to drive a CRX for a month.

I know right? And the messed up part is the cops would rather pull over harmless speeders than those road-hogs that threaten to run someone over whenever they go.

They'd find a way to still be a threat to everyone else on the road. It's stupid when I see a new suburban with only one kid in the back.

That's the worst! If we only have one, my wife is planning on keeping the freaking Beetle!

With how nice the toureg's are, it wouldn't even be that bad to step up to one. I definitely think the beetle will work for one kid, might be a tight squeeze fitting the rear facing baby seat though.
