About a week and a half ago, I made a post about the Mach started making a squealing sound. After spending some time trying to figure out what was wrong, my Dad and I took the car down to Firestone. There were a few problems that we just decided to get done now. Most of the work was done under warranty thankfully.
The throw out bearing was going bad, so we asked how much they would charge to change the clutch. Only 100 bucks. Since we couldn't wait to order one, my dad and I took the 5.0 and drove down to Late Model Restoration in Waco Texas, two hours just to get there. Inside their building they had two very cool Mustangs.
I've never seen a Cobra R in person, looked awesome. The Pace Car was very neat to. Oh ya, the pile of parts next to the R.
An Exedy Mach 400 clutch, Steeda Clutch cable, quadrant, brake rotors and pads. The brakes were a last minute decision since they were squeaking.
Got the car back today, and runs great. The clutch feels different, but that should change as it breaks in. 30 hours of man work went in to the car. A lot of stuff was changed and I'm not even going to attempt to list it. Thanks again to those that helped last week!
Also, I picked up my brother from school and two kids yelled sweet ride. Then another said my car looked sick! That felt great to hear. I'm just so happy to have the Mach back now.

That's ridiculous! 420 to the flywheel feels fast, can't imagine what that's like.

It was a 95 with a 2003 Cobra 5.4 SC engine swapped into it, high stall TQ converter as well as upgraded everything in the trans, upgraded bottom end for the engine, new SC and a set of cams.
Made good power down low where you want it, was my first car lol. Got it as a gift from my neighbor.

You would never know that a car like that has 800 to the wheels. Some first car.

My dad's 14 5.0. I wish I had that much power to the flywheel.

Its always nice. Are you going to go easy on the clutch because its new? I mean, does it needs to be breaked in like an engine does when you get a new car?

It was a perfect sleeper, had electric cutouts so it sounded quiet just cruising, trying to drive in traffic was brutal with a high stall though...
But I loved that car, i wish it wasn't gone but it had to be done, I was tboned and cracked the trans pan which ruined the trans then I just ran it til the block gave out and inerds were outerds

I still have yet to drive it unfortunately. At first he wouldn't at all, now that I've learned to drive standard on my car he says he wants me to drive it, just haven't gotten around to that yet.

Yup. For the first 500 miles you have to go easy on the clutch and you shouldn't go above 4K RPM's.

That's terrible. I didn't know you could crack the trans pan after getting tboned, weird.

I went up on two wheels, came down and it bottomed my suspension out on the crest of the road,
