In the continuing saga of having high school students running around my campus, more shit has begun. There is currently a parent screaming at someone in the office because their 9th grade daughter was making out with a college student. You know what, maybe this entire thing won't be too bad, so far it's been pretty entertaining. Though those little fuckers need to get out of the damn subway. Had to wait a damn half an hour to get a sandwich! Next time "My college has turned into a high school part III: A new hope."

Heh, i went to boarding school in HS. One of the rules was that seniors and freshmen weren't allowed to date.

Why are there HS students running around your campus?
Also, making out with 9th graders is good work if you can get it. As long as they're legal.

Yeah, I thought it would be different too... Just like I thought the professional office culture would be different.
People are dumb, and will continue to be dumb for your entire life. Don't expect it to change all that much.

Because someone in administration thought it would be a brilliant idea to open up a christian high school on LSUA's campus.
There's no legal 9th grader in Louisiana where the legal age is 18.

Wait—isn't Jerry Lee Lewis from LA? He married a 13-year-old, and his cousin at that. I figured the age of consent would be lower than 18.

1958, actually. So that's kind of like the '60s. That was already his third wife, too.

Aaaaaand watch that county's unwed/teen pregnancy rate skyrocket now!
Seriously, who didn't see that coming? Also, I started college at 17 so I guess this could be not as gross/illegal as people are saying. Or it could be! Either way, I'm laughing at this.
FTR: My college did let HS seniors (maybe some juniors?) take college classes and get both HS/college credit for them. And yes, yes, I did hook up with one of them. I was probably 18 and she was probably 16 or 17.

He's been married 7 times, and has "at least 6 children" according to Wikipedia. I can only guess how many more there really are. Great balls of fire inded!

Hey now! The county's teen pregnancy rate isn't going to sky rocket! That's because we live in Lousiana and we don't have counties. However, the PARISH's teen pregnancy rate? possibly.
