Looks like the the driver of the red STi could have avoided the whole thing by following the proper line through the corner and executing better car control. The black STi should have also been showing more restraint in his driving based on what was happening in front of him

Perfect example of why, when you are not actually racing for position (in a disposable racecar) in a race, you maintain an interval that lets you react to what comes up in front of the lead car. This is why I almost always prefer to pull up the tail when driving in a group.
What was actually surprising about that video? The '62/63 Chevy II/Nova.

Car in front of the E30, the E30 and the red WRX were at fault, as was the black STi.
The red WRX was following the E30 too closely for a caution situation.
The E30 slowed down too quickly in that situation when he could see the car in front of him was already slowing or very slow.
AAAAAnd the black STI was going way too fast when there was a caution and he could clearly see how slow those cars in front of him were going.
