There's a house around here that has not one, but two Accord Crosstours.

How can you justify buying TWO of these things!?

They also had a Prius though, so that might explain something.

Well I got a ride from Columbus to Chillicothe during last years winter storm that put my Mazda 3 in a ditch and the guy who gave me a lift was a total stranger in a Crosstour and it handled it pretty well. I would at least rather have a Crosstour than a regular Accord if those were my only options.

Another unpopular opinion, I'd take a ZDX in a heartbeat.

The Acura looks better than the Honda IMO.

You could probably make the Honda look good with some modifications though.

Crosstour Registry thread

I tweet photos of them. I had so many that I made this thread.

I even Enzodude them when I get the chance.

Now, back to the pair of cars. Crosstour choice aside, I don't know why any couple would buy two of the same thing. Get two different cars, for crying out loud. Not because you have to enjoy cars, but because YOU DON'T NEED TWO! Get a Civic and a Crosstour.. Get an Accord and a Pilot. Get a Crosstour and a Fit...

That, to me, is more (not much more) puzzling than getting two Crosstours.

I almost like the Crosstour.

It's ridiculously roomy inside. The seats are very comfortable. Tons of cargo space. Very comfy ride with above-average handling on the awd version. Perfectly decent power for a practical hauler type vehicle.

It's styling is a bit unfortunate, but really it would look fine if it had a different grille, the ride height were a couple inches lower, and it had wider wheels/tires.

These wheels are far too stancebro-y but you get the idea.

Of course, someone at Honda decided that the car needed to get more trucky-looking, which has resulted in the abomination that is the 2013-up Crosstour. Which is frankly, awful.

Those are definitely people who view cars as appliances. There's TOO many cars out there that I want to try to ever own 2 of the same. I wonder if those same people go any buy multiple pairs of the same jeans? Yep those are on sale, give me 5 pair!

They aren't the cheapest per say, but probably the lowest "cost to own" wagon out there when you consider maintenance cost, reliability and resale.
