#RealTalk When I bought that beater SC, it had no jack so I bought a nice floor one and shoved it in the trunk.
Which turned out to be useful, because I had 2 blowouts in Detroit.
EDIT: now with SR20

EDIT: P.S. It's a little past merely "flat".

Much better than those little twisty jacks cars come with nowadays.

One of these 2-ton jacks I can see. All through HS and College I had all my tools in my trunk. If I had a jack, it would have been in there too, much easier than the scissor jack. I can see other people driving around with one just because it is so much easier.

Yupp! Saves a lot of time. But point being, people sometimes have floor jacks.

Answer - No one.

What stick does the writer have up his ass? He's such a dick. I bet he doesn't even know. He said "You examine the tire tread depth... literally by sticking a little stick in there". How clueless does that sound? Nothing about the coin trick?

That's a 2002.5-2005 Pontiac Grand Am. I've often had my floor jack in my trunk for a couple of weeks at a time, usually when I've taken it somewhere and just left it in the trunk.

Some of those commenters need Jesus. I learned how to change a tire by the time I was 10. And even if you haven't learned, its not rocket science. The Google machine should be able to tell you how to do it 100 different ways in <.5 second. People are stupid.....
