Apparently somebody gave Camilo (designer of the Ford GT, among many other things) a 917 for a canvas.

I really like his work, but I cant stand him. His work is a truely amazing. Yet He is completely self absorbed. UGHHH Im torn I want to like this and I do But there that thinking in the back of my mind about how much of an ass he is

If you only know him from that shitty TV show, you don't know him. Working under him at Ford's Living Legends Studio (and a ton of awesome events around Detroit), my experience of him was as a prodigious talent, an encyclopedic brain, self-assured, yes, but also humble, and very interested in what young designers were doing and how he could help them get better.

Also has a ton of fucking hilarious stories.

Well, I know that. I am studying to be a designer after all. But Since I dont know the contestants so I have to base my perception off of what I see. Thanks for the insight on Camilo though. I wonder how he feels about how the show portrays him
