Old Ladies hate Stance

I went motorcycle touring in Hokkaido last weekend which was fantastic. Whilst in Hakodate I spotted these two ladies who were VERY unhappy with this car. They spent a good few minutes walking around it pointing and being very rude about it. I didn't know Japanese ladies knew such words. Although it is brown (and we all know brown is the One True Colour) I have to agree with them...

Excuse me, I need to throw up.

Give it no camber and black rims and it would actually look pretty intimidating. The camber ruins it though, like sticking a clown wig on Darth Vader.

I have always felt it's the camber that is the most repulsive about stance. I can deal with the lowered look and even the stretched rubber but that camber makes me gag.

I feel the same. I get that the extreme camber is for looks, except people are driving around on them and that doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like they have a hydraulic system or airbags that drops to the ground-scraping level for a show, but raises back up for the road (maybe they do)... but unless they have something like a hydraulic lower control arm that can retract so you can drive I just don't get this.

Is this a hyundia centurion? I kind of like the Centurion, just because you can't get them here. The only thing that really bugs me is the camber.

What fad is/was more annoying? Stanced cars with extreme camber and stretch, or fast and furious body kits and wings?

I say stanced simply because the futility and destruction of it. Maintaing a stanced car can't be cheap, and it has to be a misery to drive. At least with a body kit, the car remains somewhat functional.

What sort of damage does such a low vehicle, with bad alignment do to a car's chassis and subframe?
