We just added the PhillyMini grille badge and a union jack euro plate that I bought for her birthday. Sadly, my fiancé gets to DD this and I'm cruising around in my lame Jetta.
You might be wondering why the plate says that - I'll tell you. The car needed a name. Her name is Stephanie and she's gone by "Hanie". The car is a Cooper and well...we had to name it Handerson Cooper. I know, it's a stretch.
I've always been torn on whether I like euro front plates or not, but I think I like it. What do you think?

Actually living in Europe and being required to have the skinny plates sucks. I just want to look at the FiST's ugly mug.

It actually had a US spec front plate holder on it already. So that kinda influenced the plate decision. Cover the holes with plugs or go with some flair? Flair it is.

Even worse, I have my US spec holder which the dealer couldn't take off and then my Euro plate just bolted on top of the US holder.
I'm not sure if you can tell here but it looks stupid as hell. I will give the Mini a pass because it is woman-owned, kinda like a girl in a DSG GTI gets a pass cause ya know.. it's a girl.

Haha, that sucks! I'm trying to thinkwhy it would even have the US holder on it. I think dealers actually install them in some states here in the US? Weird.
Maybe the dealer was inept but, can you take it off and buy a frame/holder for your plate that goes into the existing holes?
