Had a good Saturday of car spotting in my home city and got some average photos with my phone (see below), but first a bit of context.

Being the girlfriend's birthday, I wanted to indulge her fetish for interior design and overpriced furniture, so I suggested we go to a design festival beign held in different places across the city. A foray into the high life, I was surrounded by complimentary sparkling water and men wearing scarves, and was less than optimistic about the day which lay ahead.

But for every $20,000 sofa and other overpriced item epitomizing form over function, there was an exotic(ish) vehicle to be seen:

Not to mention about 5 Ferarris, a Bentley Turbo R, and more 911s than most people could count, but they were driving so no pics sorry.

An of course there were going to be some which weren't so… Ah… Tasteful:

To me, the matte black Civic and Land Rover are more appealing than that really ugly AMG bodykit on the C-class.

Ah it was a company vehicle for one of the exhibitors, don't think they were performance brand decals but the placement confirms the poor taste
