was the motor hurt during the runs? My wagon has 146k on it, and my fear with autocross is motor damage. I need a better suspension for reals befor I could do this, but its also my DD, so not the best option at the same time.

Not entirely sure. I had some oil leaks that cropped up from the hotlapping. Was replacing oil pan gasket and found piece of the timing chain tensioner in the pan. Single roller timing chain vs 130# valve springs.
Went to do a top end rebuild and install a double roller timing chain. I thought "What the hell, let's go with a bigger cam than what I have already since I'm two bolts away." Misjudged the piston to valve clearances and it broke a valve off after the lifters pumped up. Stupid mistake.
