For those of you who don't know of it, robot wars is exactly what it sounds like, robots fighting each other. The heavyweights are limited to 100kg and there are smaller weight classes too. Weapons vary but flippers are most common and the event I watched didn't have full safety barriers so heavier weaponry (cutting discs etc) couldnt be used.
I have some pics and videos of the fighting. I know it isn't car related but it's machinery and some actually incorporate car parts into their design. Would you guys be interested in a write up of it?

Was that a Fighting Robots Association event? I've heard their events over in the UK are awesome.

They were previously called roaming robots and now have adopted the name of the robot wars show. I'm not sure but I believe theyre at least affiliated with FRA though if not part of them. The events are great though, this was a small free exhibition event with a smaller arena and it was still very entertaining. There's a competitive event soon but it's 300 miles from me.

Ah yeah, I remember hearing about Roaming Robots a number of years ago. Great to hear it's still going strong across the pond.
