One is an attractive, 6 cylinder future classic, and the other is an M3.

Had some fun rolling around in my moms van yesterday while I took it to get new tires. It's frighteningly easy to engage traction control when it's even slightly wet.

I think this gen odyssey is more of a future classic:

my dad has this gen in this color (surprisingly with the original trans and no issues with it). Not actually his van, it's too dark right now to go take a pic. In my opinion it's the best looking gen

I also just saw your comment on the traction control. I get wheelspin if I give it too much throttle on a wet road with the Odyssey, so yes, it's a common "Problem".

I know someone who had one until last fall. They rebuilt the transmission, and sold it. The family has a brand spankin' new one now.

I like those, I don't like the transmission drama though. My parents '05 has been great so far. Just had a recall this year though, was your dads affected? It was fuel pump related.

Luckily it's pretty easy to control, but it's still pretty strange. I've also noticed it in my dads '07 accord, but I just blamed it on the nearly bald tires.

we weren't effected by the fuel pump recall. We've also never had trans issues, and we have beat on that thing from day one, it's even been off-roading

They really are tough vans. The V6 isn't too bad either. If I ever need a minivan I'll go with an odyssey, they really are great and not just for a minivan.

they really are good vans, that j series v6 is a beast. I prefer to drive that over my mom's 2010 crv, that thing is crap.

It's really easy to drive too, not hard to get used to. I don't wanna say it's a sports car, but it's more nimble than it looks.
