So yesterday I went to start my old Civic. It was totaled 2years ago and since then has only been used off road. Ridden hard and put away wet. It had probably been a month since it had been driven. :(

It's a blast driving my old faithful Honda like a WRC car at 1/4 the speed lol. It's battery doesn't hold a charge but besides that it almost always starts with a little help from a booster box . In the two years it's been a rally car there has only been three occasions when it wouldn't start. Once when the air filter got so clogged that the car would not start with it on(it has a short ram intake with a cone filter). Again when cylinder number 2 had a blown spark plug o-ring causing oil to leak into the cylinder from the head. The last time was yesterday.

Well actually she starts but won't run. 3/5 time she'll hold idle, but As soon as you try to open the throttle at all it bogs really bad, and either dies or dips down to 2-300 rpm then goes back to is idle. I went to take a closer look and found the number 2 spark plug boot had come off. I put it back on and it idled better but the bogging hadn't gone away. It was very low on fuel and sitting on a steep incline so I thought maybe it was getting enough fuel.

This is when I decided to push it a few feet into flat ground. But I had forgotten to prop the hood up. When I started pushing the hood slammed down on my head. The latch came down and it me square in the head and cut my head open pretty bad. By the time I got to the house I had blood streaming down my face. It was hilarious!

TL:DR I'm a dumbass and hit myself in the head with the hood of my field bomber.

And as compensation for your time have an absolutely adorable rally car. Just look at those wittul wheels, and tires.

Well I guess it's good that you can laugh about it. But DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!
