EDIT: MontegoMan562 takes it! The correct answer is the Martin XB-48.
The XB-48 was Martin's answer to the U.S. War Department's 1944 request for a medium bomber. It competed against and was thoroughly out-classed by the Boeing B-47 Stratojet and as a result, only two prototypes were ever built. Interestingly, the XB-48 was the first aircraft designed with bicycle landing gear.
